We have received authorization from the public health department to begin re-opening the office for preventive care. This means we can do cleanings and restorative work that have previously been delayed. If you are already on the schedule for a cleaning we will contact you to confirm that you would still like to come and be sure of the time. In some cases we may need to move your appointment slightly to accommodate social distancing between patients in the office and hope you will be patient with us during this process.
There are several changes that we are currently instituting to address the presence of the coronavirus in our community. Our staff members will go over these changes when we confirm your appointment. Automated confirmations are going to be turned off for a while, although you may still receive a reminder 1 hour before your visit.
We have also instituted some changes with our phone system to allow Ellen and Naz to be able to hear from and respond to all patients in an organized way. If you're asked to leave a message we will do our best to get back in touch within one business day.
I'd like to thank all of you who have reached out with supporting words during this difficult time. I'd also like to let you know that if you feel that you are not ready to return for a dental visit at this time you will not be pressured from us in any way. We're ready when you are!
